The youth reveal that cinemas can be a good way of passing on different kinds of information mostly concerning spread of HIV/AIDS.  

A youth who happens to be a primary school teacher Jacques Niyongabo said that cinemas can attract many people’s attention and that even those who don’t know how to read can pick the intended message since cinema has both sound and visual aspects. 

He says that if the youth could be shown cinemas and given other educative incentives like books to read to those who know how to read would be of great value to them.

Julienne Nyiragiraneza confirmed that cinemas are a good way of passing on educative information since they illustrate how things keep unfolding from the start up to the end which gives a person to have a sense of judgment from what he or she has just seen.

“A normal person would have a sense of judgment to choose what is right or wrong for him or her after seeing events unfold from the start of the cinema up to the end and the effects characters encountered with” he  said.

She continues to explain that watching cinemas that contain educative information give a person the conscious of keeping a way from bad moves that would lead him or her to regrettable mistakes he or she will have seen in the cinema but again cautions that certain people might be influenced by cinemas to practice what they saw thus falling in to the trap.

The coordinator of Nyamasheke youth center Janvier Ndanga revealed that the youth center will use various measures to educate the youth on the spread of HIV/AIDs and showing of cinemas inclusive.
