According to the newspaper Le fugaro, children who spend most time outdoors rarely suffer from Myopia compared to children that spend most time in the house.
This research that was carried out in USA shows that between 25 and 30 percent of youth aged between 16 and 24 years in France suffer from eye diseases.
Also, while 40 percent of French people vision problems, children who had chances of being outdoors most of the time exposed to natural light have no Myopia.
Dr Jeremy Guggenheim and his team mates made a research on 7000 male and female children between 7 and 15 years of age in USA.
Parents reporting how long their children stayed in natural light at the age of 8 and 9 years and at what age they suffered from eye diseases, it was found out children who had 3 hours every day outside the house never got eye problems.
Apart from natural light, research reveals watching television, learning from dark rooms, reading books from close and heredity cause Myopia in children.
