Ruhango District council is set to join efforts with the district administration in the move to increase mutuelle coverage in Ruhango district.
This was decided during one day meeting held on December 27th 2013 by Ruhango district council committee members.
The district mayor, Francis Xavier Mbabazi highlighted that mutual health insurance coverage is low compared to other performance contracts implementation.
It’s in this regard that it was decided the district council and administration join efforts in sensitizing residents to embrace mituelle (mutual health insurance) program.
Mayor Mbabazi explains that only 67 percent residents have contributed for the mutual health insurance program in Ruhango district.
He urged all council committee members to work hand in hand with the district administration in promoting the programme

Gakuba asked the committee members to help local leaders in their respective sectors in sensitizing residents into embracing the health insurance program.
